September and October were spent in Devon and Cornwall where we had loads of brilliant dives in the warm water.
The wrasse are obviously used to divers and I got to do 2 paintings of them, they were gorgeous and everywhere.
I caught up with the gallery and also tried out my new underwater camcorder.
Both the pictures took quite a few dives to complete as they were the largest I’ve done to date.
And after spending most of the summer on the seabed painting I was ready to play around on the dives, and play I did!
I’ll probably not get to do anymore underwater painting this year because when the water gets colder my fingers don’t work well after even a short while in the water, and some of the paints don’t work either.
I’ve dived and painted underwater to my heart’s content all year, and I’ll dive through the winter but without my paints.
I’ve got lots planned for 2010 both UK and overseas. So many fish and guns to paint!
